For the third consecutive year, Daikanyama in Shibuya Ward has emerged as the top neighborhood in a livability survey conducted by a rental housing operator. The survey, carried out by Daito Trust Construction and released last week, revealed that Daikanyama residents once again rated their neighborhood the highest in terms of their desire to continue living there.
The survey evaluated various areas around train stations based on the feedback of 20,393 Tokyo residents aged 20 and over. Participants were asked to rate, on a scale from one to ten, their satisfaction with their current neighborhood and their desire to continue living there. All respondents reside within a 15-minute walking distance from their respective train stations.
Daikanyama's consistent high ranking reflects its residents' strong contentment and preference for the area, contributing to its continued recognition as one of Tokyo's most desirable places to live.
